Notes on Culture & Antique Art, Ethnic Decor & Vintage Fashion | Wovensouls Art Gallery
This museum needs at least a day to even just see all the exhibits. If you’d like to understand the details … then at least 2 days.
In this note I’m presenting only photos as no commentary is needed.
This museum was very useful in providing a broad exposure to the diversity of costumes used in the the various tribal / ethnic groups within Vietnam. Enjoy the museum walk!
First a daughter-in-law’s funeral costume:
And the next – a fabulous costume from Luzon
Next, another stunner from Luzon. Makes me wonder why I haven’t seen any until now online…
Next
Next
Next an Iban Sungkit skirt – one of my favorite forms of weaving….
And then the rest:
And a photo of a photo
and now the rest.
A must-see if you are visiting Hanoi!
And if you cannot go to Hanoi – there’s always the visual feast on wovensouls.com to delight you 😊😊😊
