Notes on Culture & Antique Art, Ethnic Decor & Vintage Fashion | Wovensouls Art Gallery
Just a quick post with photos from the Mataram museum in Lombok Indonesia (an island east of Bali).
First, the piece that I enjoyed the most … a figurative woven cloth:
In a short stop at Mataram during a sailing a few years ago in 2015 we spent a very short evening at the museum and these are very hurriedly taken photos from that visit.
These photos waited for 6 years to be posted on the blog!!!
“I was busy” is a nicer way of saying “I got lazy”

Absolutely beautiful. Please keep posting more pictures!
Interesting piece – could you share more information.
Love these museum walks. We only hear about V&A & the Met – it is easy to forget that there are smaller museums that are equally interesting!
Love spending time on your website.
Enchanted by your gallery! So much to desire!
