Notes on Culture & Antique Art, Ethnic Decor & Vintage Fashion | Wovensouls Art Gallery
Diwali, one of the most celebrated festivals of India
falls on Nov 7th this year.
On this night, the darkest in the lunisolar calendar, Laxmi – the Goddess of Wealth enters the home.
Entrances are therefore decorated with Rangoli art,
to attract the Goddess of Wealth
and little oil lamps and lanterns to light up her path.
In a special tradition one day prior, we also acquire a token of material wealth – an ornament or silver coin.
But real wealth lies in connecting with people during festivals.
So come celebrate the festive season with me this year.
If you can, come home to our place in Singapore,
so that we can all create real wealth by lighting up each other’s spirits
with connections and conversations.
If you can’t,
then come celebrate at WOVENSOULS.
Over 150 textiles are being offered at very special prices
until NOV 20th
So join me – light up your spirit (& home)with
the wealth of an antique heirloom textile!
