‘Vanishing Cultures’ Exhibition Opens

A few minutes before the exhibition opens:

The things in this room – the textiles & the photographs, the stories behind their acquisition, the people in the photos & the travels that enabled all this – they are the essence of my passions in the last decade.

Standing in that room is like watching a very vivid flashback!

Day 1 Lunchtime Update: Visitor traffic is delightfully high and six pieces – (two of which are rare and will be impossible to replace) have already found new homes…..
