884 Rare Vintage Burmese Hilltribe Textile with Job’s Tear Seeds

Beautiful vintage weaving from Myanmar Hilltribes.

Superb thick coarse hand-spun cotton.

Some Ikat in the central band, some alternating green wefts and warps – giving it a shaded effect.

Woven as two panels and then stitched together along the length at the centre.

Job’s Tear Seed Embroidery.

Estimated to be from the 1950s – 1970s
