Given the migratory history of the peoples of this region, it is difficult to ascertain a definitive source location for this piece. Some have sworn that this work is from Swat, others have put it down to Sind.
Wherever it came from, the piece is absolutely gorgeous and will be a superb wall artwork.

This item has spent a lifetime being used for the purpose of its creation with the original artist/user. Signs of this life lived heartily may be present on the piece in the form of stains, thread loss, loose threads, holes, tears, color run and other imperfections.
