978 Old Hilltribe Tribal Textile Head / Shoulder Cloth – Woven Art

Worn on the head in a turban-like tie, the ends of this rare head cloth have been woven to create a 3-dimensional effect. Ends of the supplementary wefts have been left uncut for added effect and hang alongside the long fringe.

64.5 inches x 10 inches

Some discoloration and stains. Some repairs.

The red-woven ends are of different lengths – one end is 20 inches the other is 26 inches.

Estimated to be from the mid 1900s
