754 Shekhawati Bishnoi Shawl Rajasthan Textile Art

Beautiful Bishnoi Odhana from Rajasthan. Rare rendition of patterns created with a sense of naivete that shines through the placement of the motifs randomly across the field.

Hand spun Khaddar cotton, hand woven and hand embroidered and probably natural dyes.

Probably from the Bishnoi community in the Shekhawat region.

Estimated to be from the 1960s-1970s. Some parts seem to be completed later.
