Antique Tatibin – An Ancestral Ceremonial Cloth From Sumatra.

From The Same Weaving And Ethnic Origin As Tampan And Palepai Ship Cloths.

Fragments Of Metal That Were Originally Woven Into This Textile But Later Removed (Possibly In The Hope Of Precious Metal Content) Remain Embedded In The Textile.

Estimated to be from the mid 1800s

Size: 37 X 170 Cm
