Naga Ceremonial War Dances

A decade ago, these were still being practiced during festivals and ceremonies.

The grandiosity of the event was captured in my photos taken about 15 years ago and then forgotten in my folders.

I’ve just added some to the gallery – here is a preview:

I cannot forget the moments in which I sat at the center of the small circle of dancing warriors and clicked their joyous & frenzied faces above me from the ground level. What a privilege it is to be witness to so much!
