Art is all around in the Himalayan region – e.g. Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Tibet, Ladakh.

Unless you lock yourself up in a dark room, not a hour passes without having your vision ambushed by beautiful things from long ago!

Maybe that is the reason the people in these places are so pleasant and peaceful.
