Remembering fascinating Turkey.
Posting photos I’d forgotten about … of an unforgettable trip in 2015.
Worth a look.

That visit bonded me to that land. So many unanswered questions then – so many unanswered questions today.
It is at such times that I feel the need to believe in a higher power – a universe that must hold the answers.

What are the white, cocoon-shaped things in this photo?

These reminded me of the Shetur fruit (Mulberry maybe?) found in Maharashtra, India and since my children have enjoyed climbing and getting some of these, I clicked these pictures. The ripe ones in Maharashtra turn red eventually. These look large enough to be ripe but were still white – so am not sure if that’s what these are. ~ Jaina
Perhaps – it would need to be checked – but from memory I seem to recall that the type silk-worms prefer is the white mulberry.
Beautiful photographs.
