Nomads in the Himalayas

Found these photos taken in March 2016 in my folders – waiting silently for my attention.

A sighting of a nomadic settlement – a split second decision to stop (see the car on the extreme left of the above photo) – followed by a long walk to the yaks and a longer search for the humans who were not at the tent – and finally success!

Two Nomads!

What an amazing day that was!

And the grins I see on my face in photos taken in the Himalayan outdoors tell me that these little adventures are all I need to stay alive and happy!
