Saving Beauty

We all need something to love, something to serve, and something to save…

A piece came my way that is needs some tender loving care.

Besides the fact that it is Kashmiri I know little else about it.

The fine work has been done in silk and judging from the number of expert repairs it was clearly a much loved piece. Someone before me tried  very hard to keep it strong!

And now that task is mine.

I wiLl probably have it mounted on silk and keep it aside with the dozens of antique beauties that I plan to wear someday!

Waiting to hear what the experts of Lucknow whose ancestral profession is to heal textiles, have to suggest!

What do you recommend?

Salvage it? Yes or No?

How?
