Your collection is pretty awesome. Liked it very much. I also visited your site and found it to be interesting. But the images on blogs are not showing. Most people would stay to have a look at your collection if you could have this fixed. Thanks
Thanks for your feedback – I will check out the errant images & fix the problem soon.
This is a really eclectic selection of carpets to show and discuss. The green qum is very unusual, especially in that tone. I am surprised the Lesghi avoided the old english washes to draw down the colors – you see so few of them without the was, and rarely in condition like the one you show. These are great examples, thank you for sharing
Very last piece – Double bag is not Sumak weave, it surely looks like plain flat weave. How can such a major mistake can be made in such a great WEB -SITE.

ALSO- ANTIQUE UZBEK BAG FACE: it is not a bag face but it is a mafrash panel- Bedding bag. It is most probably from Caucasus.
Hello!
Thanks for your comments! I am not really an expert on the Central Asian textiles and so the mistakes may have crept in as I reproduced the descriptions from memory. Thanks for your notes! Will make the corrections on the websites soon.
