1309 Pair of Antique Tantric Buddhist Horn Carvings from the 1800s

Pair of Antique Tantric Hand carvings on Deer horn

Made as a devotional artwork by a senior monk in the same spirit as Thangkas are made – service / worship of Buddha through the creation of artworks.

‘A’ has depictions of White Tara, Jambala And Mahakala buddha rupa and is about 10 inches tall.

‘B’ has depictions of Amitayus, Green Tara and Vajrapani buddha rupa

 and is approximately 8.5 inch tall

Estimated to be from the 1800s.
