1191 – Printed of Indian Miniature Painting

“Return of the Messenger” – Indian Miniature Painting printed reproduction, 1962

An illustration to the The Gita Govinda, Rajasthan, circa 1600 A.D.

Various scenes follow the story of the arrival of the messenger from Krishna to Radha and then Radha’s conversation with the messenger, followed by Krishna’s dalliance with one of Radha’s rivals.

A very good quality printed reproduction of an Indian miniature painting.
