Tai Daeng Woman’s Head Wrapper from Laos
Rich traditional silk with superfine weaving
Motifs beautifully interwoven to create a dense pattern at the ends of the textile.
The number of colors used in the composition directly impact the complexity of the mechanics of weaving it – the more colors used the longer it takes to weave it. In this elegant textile more than 4 colors have been used in one of the ends.
Will be perfect as a wall hanging but was originally meant to be worn as a head wrap
300 x 58cm
