BEAUTIFUL TRADITIONAL LAOTIAN WEAVING.

Estimated to be from the 1950s – 1970s

Created for self-use and not for the commercial market.

The human figure seen in this weaving is rare.

This motif represents ancestors and is a symbol of protection.

Dark Cotton base for the weaving. Attached to beautiful white hand-spun cotton / handwoven panel borders. Minor dye run.
