    An interesting colour as green is often fugitive in a dye! Do you have an idea of the age?

    It appears to be from the id-late 1800s – can’t ever be certain of age though. What do you think?

    Mid to late 1800’s could easily cover synthetic greens. I have just found this very interesting article on green dyes in Asia. I have only skimmed it, but it looks like it could be quite useful in this context. http://www.asiantextilestudies.com/green.html
    I am also aware that very nice greens were obtained in Japan by overdying indigo with camelia leaves. However I would have to research find out how long a history that would have, quite long would be my guess.
