CONTEMPORARY TRADITIONAL TEXTILES GALLERY

In my travels, in the course of my hunt for old textiles, I come across beautiful contemporary traditional textiles as well, some of them hard to resist. And I’d buy them, thinking that I could use them personally after some tailoring or modification and integrate them into my life.

Such modification takes time, and with the travel and other projects – it has not happened yet. And as the nomadic life picks up tempo as I grow older, it seems unlikely that I will undertake such such projects!

And so, the result is that the wardrobes are overflowing and bursting with colors and weaves.

These contemporary traditional textiles – some tribal, some ethnic have all posted in the newly created “Contemporary Traditional Textiles Gallery” on wovensouls.com.

Many will go on ebay.com a few at a time. Simply because I cannot afford the space anymore!!
