A pair of Burmese wooden fans with gilded gold decoration.
These were used in Buddhist temples during ceremonies.
Initial readings suggest that such fans are used in temples during ceremonies and are held by disciples to shield the monk’s eyes from distractions while giving blessings.

This item has spent a lifetime being used for the purpose of its creation with the original artist/user. Signs of this life lived heartily may be present on the piece in the form of stains, thread loss, loose threads, holes, tears, color run and other imperfections.
